Wrap Arounds™ Weighted Sashes

Focus & Calm – Is your child having trouble focusing? Wrap Arounds^TM can be a great solution to help children focus during standing and sit down activities. Weight and pressure have found to be beneficial for focus in children and adults.

How it Works: Wrap Arounds^TM maybe be worn two at a time (crisscrossed) or one at a time diagonally. It provides the wearer an extra gentle pressure to increase focus and reassurance, similar to a loving hand on a shoulder. Specifically designed with less fabric covering, Wrap Arounds^TM are a cooler alternative than the bulkier weighted vest. Wrap Arounds^TM come with an extra bonus, non-latex elastic band that you can clip on your favorite fidget to further improve focus.

Research has shown the amount of time for the effectiveness of weighted vests is from 15-30 minutes per wearing. These time frame recommendations are clearly noted on the Wrap Around Tags along with the recommended weight range for the child. • Wrap Arounds™ have an elastic band to which a fidget toy may be attached.
• Occupational therapists often suggest the use of a hand held fidget to encourage focus and to keep hands to oneself.
• A fidget object can be attached to the elastic band so when the child lets go of the object it stays at their side ready for the next time they need to fidget.
